We are seeking a hard-working, kind and compassionate office manager to provide critical office support - collaborating with our owner and project manager to ensure the many details of our company stay organized and on course from social media planning, to seasonal workshops, client follow up to payroll. This position requires punctuality, honesty, a love of organized and clear communication, excitement in regards to sustainable gardening as well as an adventurous spirit for the ebb and flow that comes with building and growing a young company.
Responsibilities:
Using our Scheduling and Client Information Software to create and regularly update client and job details
Data and information management including the filing and archiving of field reports, photos and design/consult notes.
Field requests from clients for upcoming workdays and see they are communicated with the admin team and assigned crew in a timely manner.
Assisting with general office management, including running reports, editing proposals for clarity, ordering supplies and checking to be sure all calendar invites are as updated as possible
Helping to manage social media calendars, email newsletters and marketing lists under the direction of administrative team
Track helpful KPIs for ongoing sales and company goals
Qualifications:
A competent, working knowledge of social media planners, Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Forms, Docs) and Microsoft Office based technology
Familiarity with Quickbooks and in particular Quickbooks payroll is a plus.
Reliable internet and phone service and fully functional and focused home office for remote work capabilities.
Ability to follow directions and readily ask for clarification when needed
Proactive communication in the event of availability changes or vacation/sick days
Enthusiasm and self motivation for learning and completing tasks at hand in a timely, detailed manner
A Friendly Compassionate Demeanor that enjoys team work and assisting with customer service requests
At least one working year of office related experience
A Kind Listening ear ready for garden talk :)
This is a part time and mostly remote position with opportunities for additional hours during busy seasons. Roughly 12-20 hours per week based on candidate skills and seasonal fluctuations.

Hourly pay is DOE, with the opportunity for adjustment in June based off performance and demonstrated knowledge during our Spring season.
